Mrs. Claudia B. Lindsay, 61, of Winfield Township, passed away at 6:15 p.m. Thursday while in the company of family members at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

Claudia was born in Huntington Valley on Oct. 1, 1948, the daughter of the late Barbara (Davis) and Edward C. Bostock III, who survives her, of Willow Grove, Pa.

She attended college at West Chester State in West Chester and graduated from Bryn Athyn College in Bryn Athyn, Pa., with a degree in teaching.

She taught various grades at Bryn Athyn Elementary School for eight years. She had also worked with her husband for the past 28 years in the sales business.

She was a member of Sower's Chapel in Sarver. Claudia enjoyed music, playing volleyball with the Senior Olympics, traveling with her family and spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid Steelers fan as well.

She is survived by her husband, Charles G. Lindsay; her two daughters, Ashley Lindsay of Croston, Md., and Laura Lindsay of Pittsburgh; and her brother, Tom Bostock of Willow Grove, Pa.

She is preceded in death by her two brothers, Edward "Ned" IV and John Bostock.

Lindsay, who died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, are being received from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday in <B>Redmond Funeral Home Inc.</B>, 524 High St., Freeport.A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Sower's Chapel, 100 Sarver Rd., Winfield Township, with Rev.
