Glenda I. Fosnaught
Glenda I. Fosnaught, 71, of Butler died at 8:56 a.m. Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital after a courageous three-year battle with cancer.
She was born Dec. 1, 1937, in Butler, the daughter of the late Wilford "Sifter" and Dorothy (Young) Sykes.
Glenda enjoyed family outings, bingo, traveling, playing cards, cooking and shopping.
She had been a home health aide and a Mary Kay consultant.
She was a member of the Unionville Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Kevin (Faye) Basham and Mrs. Ron (Connie) Steighner, both of Butler; three sons, John "Jack" Fosnaught, Jay Fosnaught, and Lee and his wife, Stephany, Fosnaught, all of Butler; 10 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Del (Linda) Perry of Butler; a brother, David Sykes of Ohio; a sister-in-law, Sandy Deary of Butler; a brother-in-law, Joseph "Mack" Fosnaught of Bairdford; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Fosnaught, who died June 12, 1984, and a sister, Kay Brown.

Fosnaught, who died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, Butler.
