5:30 p.m. Tuesday — A white box truck with two men inside cut the corner at the intersection of Ballpark and Filmore streets, passing through the yard and striking a lawn swing there.Tuesday — An amount of cash found Tuesday night was turned in to police. To claim it, call police at 724-287-7743 and identify the amount of money and the area it was lost.

8:02 p.m. Tuesday — Steven Nelson Aurand, 57, of Pittsburgh was charged with two counts of driving under the influence and a red light violation following a traffic accident on New Castle Road near Butler Commons in which Aurand allegedly ran a red light and struck another vehicle driven by Raymond Wohl, 50, of Butler.9:13 a.m. Friday — Michael Ahrens, 18, and Alexander Miranda, 18, both of Butler, each were charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after they allegedly showed up for school late and smelling of burnt marijuana, leading school officials to investigate. Ahrens also was charged with possession of a knife on school property, possession of tobacco on school property and possession of a controlled substance.

Wednesday — Brant Errera, 19, of Grove City was arrested on a warrant filed by the State Police for felony computer crimes.Dec. 17 — Some one entered Leisure Time Laundry and wrote graffiti on a garbage can in the bathroom. Graffiti also was located on the outside of the building. Anyone with information may call police at 724-458-7925.

8:40 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Stephanie M. Yohe, 20, of Hilliards crashed into an embankment before rolling onto its roof, sliding and coming to rest on its passenger side against a tree along Route 58 in Venango Township. Yohe suffered head, facial and abdominal injuries and was taken by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Yohe was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.7 p.m. Monday — Charles Edward Mackalica Jr., 23, of Center Township was charged with trespass after he allegedly walked onto a neighbor's property on Jamisonville Road after being told not to do so. The neighbor, Vicki Adams, 48, of Center Township, was charged with trespass after she entered Mackalica's property to speak with him, and Charles Edward Mackalica Sr., 49, of Center Township was charged with harassment after pushing Adams off his porch.1:34 a.m. Monday — Jason Callahan, 36, of Hilliards was charged with DUI and possession of a controlled substance after his vehicle became disabled on Cemetery Road in Venango Township.10:49 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Angelena M. Craig, 18, of Parker struck a guardrail and a utility pole along Route 268 near Hook City Road in Bruin. Craig was not injured and was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic and not wearing a seat belt.12:36 p.m. Saturday — Brent M. Spahn, 22, and Chad M. Spahn, 21, both of Venango Township, were charged with simple assault following a domestic altercation at their Jamison Road residence. Both men suffered minor head and facial injuries.12:13 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Debra F. Boozer, 47, of New Bethlehem crashed into an embankment and rolled onto its roof along Interstate 79 in Worth Township. Debra Boozer and her passengers Heidi S. Boozer, 23, and Cierra A. Arnett, 19, both of Clarion, each suffered minor injuries. Debra Boozer was cited for driving at unsafe speed.2 a.m. Saturday — Justin Randall Hilliard, 19, of Prospect was charged with driving without a license and unauthorized use of motor vehicles after he allegedly took a vehicle belonging to Michelle L. Hilliard of Prospect without permission, then crashed it into a ditch along David Road in Prospect.2 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Anthony S. Shoop, 27, of Saxonburg crashed into a mailbox and a sign along Bonniebrook Road near Headland Road in Jefferson Township. Shoop was not injured.5 a.m. Dec. 17 — An unknown vehicle struck mailboxes at 116, 118 and 120 Alwine Road in Jefferson Township, then fled in an unknown direction. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.12:01 a.m. Dec. 17 — Stephen G. Ramsey, 24, of Butler was charged with DUI and several traffic violations after the car he was driving struck a utility pole on Benbrook Road in Center Township. Ramsey suffered a minor injury.12:45 p.m. Dec. 10 — John Frederick Nero, 37, of Butler was charged with DUI, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Bredin Street in Butler.
