Wolfe Sr.

Richard "Bud" M. Wolfe Sr., 64, of Butler passed away Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Sept. 26, 1945, in Fenelton, the son of the late McKinley Wolfe and Louella (Clever) Wolfe.

Bud retired from the Butler Memorial Hospital after 25 years of faithful and loyal service.

He was a member of Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church.

He enjoyed hunting, watching sports, and most of all, spending time with his faithful dog, Abby, and his grandchildren, and making his family laugh.

Surviving are his loving wife of 37 years, Gloria (Hulick) Wolfe; two daughters, Michelle Wolfe (Robert Hayes) of Butler and Traci Shearer (Randy) of Butler; three sons, SFC Richard M. Wolfe Jr. (Janet) of Fort Knox, Ky., Tim Wolfe (Holly Moore) of Butler and John Wolfe (Jen) of Petrolia; seven grandchildren, Krysti Weaver of Atlanta, Ga., PV2 Travis Wolfe of Fort Campbell, Ky., Rebekah Wolfe of Fort Knox, Ky., Amanda Wolfe of Alton, Ill., Blake and Tyler Shearer of Butler, and Rachel Neely of Butler; a great-granddaughter, Crystal Wolfe of Fort Campbell, Ky.; a brother, Jerry Wolfe of New Castle; a sister, Linda Wolfe of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Brandon Weaver; and 12 brothers and sisters.

<B>WOLFE</B> — Friends of Richard "Bud" M. Wolfe Sr., who died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church, 727 Old Route 422 W., Butler, with his pastor, the Rev. Jeffrey Curtis, officiating.
