Robert “Bob” DeAngelo of Scottsdale, Ariz., died Nov. 22 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bob was born in Butler, June 2, 1957, to Diane DeAngelo and his late father, Anthony DeAngelo.

Bob will forever be remembered by his seven loving sisters and brothers, Carol Morris of Fayetteville, N.C., Teresa Farnen of Butler, Melody Henry of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Anthony DeAngelo Jr., deceased, of Butler, William DeAngelo of Butler, Thomas DeAngelo of Butler and Don DeAngelo of Butler.

Bob will be sadly missed by his two children and their spouses, Mandy and Dane Wolford of Herman, and Patrick and Dana Bennett-DeAngelo of Center Conway, N.H.; as well as his three beloved grandsons, Tyler, Jeremy and Riley Wolford.

Bob married his present wife, Stephanie Dobbs of Scottsdale, Ariz., Oct. 11, 2008, while he remained great friends with his first wife and mother of his children, Vel Green of Chicora.

Bob was employed as a superintendent for Archer-Western, where he was involved in several revamping projects in the Phoenix area.

Bob will be most remembered for his kindness to all and love for his family. He was a hard worker that fought bravely right until the end.

<B>DeAngelo </B>— Friends and family of Robert “Bob” DeAngelo, who died Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, are invited to attend a memorial service at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at the North Street Christian Church, 220 W. North St., Butler.
