Richard E. 'Dick' Taylor

Richard E. "Dick" Taylor, 66 of Renfrew, died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009 at Cranberry Place, after a short illness.

Born Sept. 23, 1943, in Prospect, he was the son of Russell and Lena Stephenson Taylor.

Mr. Taylor worked in the produce department for Giant Eagle. He had worked at Pullman Standard until the plant closed and also at Paragon Trade Brands until its closure. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and traveling.

Surviving are his wife, Janice Graser Taylor, whom he married on Aug. 23, 1965; two daughters, Shelley (Kurt) Albert of Butler and Melissa (Ken) Zaludek of Renfrew; a brother, Tom Taylor of Butler, a brother and sister-in-law Bruce and Janice Graser; and four grandchildren, Jacob and Sarah Zaludek, Joshua and Madeline Albert.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a granddaughter Megan Alexis Zaludek and two brothers, Robert Taylor and Donald Taylor.
