Powell, Latham
Megan Powell and Jonathan Latham, both of Brookville, were united in marriage Aug. 22 at the Queenstown Hunt Club in Parker. The Rev. Richard Rowe officiated. A reception followed at the club.
The bride is the daughter of William and Wendy Powell of Chicora. Parents of the bridegroom are Ray and Laura Latham of Siloam Springs, Ark.
The maid of honor was Lori Kriess of Butler. Bridesmaids included Veronica Sawyer of Williamsport and Kim Hulse of Etters, Pa. The flower girl was Cecelia Sawyer of Williamsport.
Performing the duties of best man was Josh Latham of Springdale, Ark. Ushers included Adam Murray of Fenelton and Jacob Coleman of Big Run.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Karns City High School and a 2009 graduate of Jeff Tech. She was recently licensed as a practical nurse.
The bridegroom graduated in 2003 from Thompson High School. He is employed by Rosebud Mining Company.
Following a honeymoon trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple is making their home in Brookville.
