Road work restricts I-80
ALLEGHENY TWP — Motorists using eastbound Interstate 80 in Butler County will not have use of the passing lane, with milling of the road surface to run from about 9:30 a.m. until Monday evening.
The right lane was milled over the weekend and reopened to traffic Sunday evening.
The milling is occurring between Exit 42 (Route 38) in Butler County, and Exit 45 (Route 478) in Clarion County.
The state Department of Transportation is cautioning drivers using this stretch of the interstate to slow down while traveling through the work area.
