Joseph D. 'Dan' Davidson
Joseph D. "Dan" Davidson, 52, of Ocala, Fla., died Nov. 23 at Malcolm Randall Veteran's Hospital in Gainesville, Fla., following an extended illness.
Born Sept. 25, 1957, in East Liverpool, Ohio, he was the son of the late William J. and Joanne Davidson.
Mr. Davidson grew up in the Renfrew area and attended Butler High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1975 to 1978. He moved to Florida in 1982, where he worked in the car business for more than 20 years until he became disabled in 2003.
He enjoyed attending auto auctions, boating and fishing on the lakes around Ocala.
Surviving are his wife, Janis Davidson; a son, Joe; a daughter, Emily; a stepdaughter, Jessica, all of Ocala; a brother, Christopher (Lori) Davidson of Renfrew; four sisters, Kimberly (Martin) Miller of Butler, Patricia (Ronald) Anthony of Fenelton, Teri Davidson of Renfrew, and Lisa Furmon of Virginia Beach, Va.; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
<B>DAVIDSON</B> — A memorial service for Joseph D. "Dan" Davidson, 52, who died Nov. 23, 2009, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Chapel at Butler County Memorial Park with the Rev.
