John J. Beneigh Jr.

John J. Beneigh Jr., 59, of Stirling Drive, Butler, died at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday at his home.

Born May 9, 1950, in Butler, he was the son of John J. Beneigh and Alma (Nuth) Beneigh.

Mr. Beneigh attended the Community Alliance Church.

He worked at the Eagle Printery and Wise Business Forms as their controller and treasurer.

He graduated from Butler High School and Robert Morris University, where he received a bachelor's degree in accounting.

Mr. Beneigh was a member of the National Accountant Association and the Butler Area Landlords Association.

Mr. Beneigh enjoyed being with his family, traveling and bicycling.

John is survived by his wife, Margie Beneigh, who he married Feb. 19, 1972; and by two sons, John J. Beneigh III and his wife, Sarah, of Butler, and Andrew J. Beneigh and his wife, Sara, of Zelienople; a daughter, Mary (Beneigh) Ford and her husband, Douglas, of Butler; a sister, Darlene (Beneigh) Morse and her husband, Harry, of Vienna, Va.; seven grandchildren, Jack and Lauren Beneigh, Carter, Avery and Preston Beneigh, and Jefferson and Jill Ford; and 18 nieces and nephews.

Mr. Beneigh was preceded in death by an infant brother.

<B>BENEIGH</B> — Friends of John J. Beneigh, who died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St.Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Oden Warman and the Rev. Dr. David Panther officiating.
