Bean, Phillips
Ashley Bean of Valencia and Jonathan Phillips of Portersville were united in marriage Sept. 25 at North Hills Alliance Church in Pittsburgh. The Rev. Dana Opp officiated. A reception followed at North Park Lodge.
The bride is the daughter of Laurie and Steve Bean of Valencia. Parents of the bridegroom are Ralph and Sandy Phillips of Portersville.
The honor attendant was Stephanie Bean of Valencia. Bridesmaids included Bridget Beachy of Boardman, Ohio, Leigh Ann Shankel of Mars, Rachel Witterman of Aliquippa, Alissa Evans of Washington, Pa., and Lauren Vranker of McDonald. The flower girl was Anna Witterman of Aliquippa. The junior bridesmaid was Avery Bean of Valencia.
Performing the duties of best man was Ryan Hassen of Pittsburgh. Ushers included Nathan Bean of Valencia, Matthew Bean of Valencia, Eric Miller of Prospect, Jesse McCune of Economy, James Michalenko of Cleveland, Tim Bean of Valencia and Martin Carlin of Portersville. The ring bearers were Sam and Evan Bean of Valencia and Noah Wall of Washington, Pa.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Mars High School. She is employed by Justice in Cranberry Township.
The bridegroom graduated in 2001 from Beaver County Christian School. He is employed by UPS in Butler.
Following a honeymoon trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple is making their home in Prospect.
