Helen F. DeLaney

Helen Frances DeLaney, 84, of Butler died at 1:45 p.m. Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Feb. 5, 1925, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Ann Senko Yalshevec.

She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

She enjoyed spending time with her family. She had worked as a clerk for Murphy's and for Woolworths.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Ray (Diane) Kriebel of Lyndora; two sons, John E. and his wife, Linda, DeLaney of Butler and Paul V. DeLaney of Butler; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Steven Yalshevec of Lyndora.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Leroy DeLaney, who she married Sept. 23, 1948, and who died Oct. 11, 1998; six sisters, and two brothers.

<B>DELANEY</B> — Friends of Helen Frances DeLaney, who died Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, Butler. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N.
