Mary Josephine Frazer, 89, of East Brady died Monday at Bradyview Manor, East Brady.

Born July 24, 1920, in Hillville, she was the daughter of Alfred A. and Alice M. (Seybert) Cogley.

She was the wife of the late James H. Frazer, who she married Oct, 7, 1939.

A 1938 graduate of East Brady High School, she was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan.

She was an Avon representative in the East Brady area for many years.

Mrs. Frazer was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in East Brady for 73 years until it closed in March 2009. She taught Sunday school and served as a deaconess. She then attended the East Brady United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a son, James W. "Jimmy" Frazer and his wife, Valjean, of Renfrew; and two daughters, Mary Jo Fiscus and her husband, Ron, of Sugarcreek Township, Armstrong County, and Kathy Harris and her husband, Danny, of Sugarcreek Township. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Frazer, who died Dec. 19, 1987; a granddaughter; three brothers; and a sister.

<B>FRAZER</B> — Friends of Mary Josephine Frazer, who died Monday, Dec. 21, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home, </B>105 Fourth St., East Brady. Visitation also will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the East Brady United Methodist Church, where the funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. The Rev. Richard Russell, pastor of the United Methodist Church of East Brady, will officiate. Private burial will be in the Bradys Bend Cemetery, Bradys Bend.Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 495, East Brady, PA 16028
