Herbert G. Enyeart
Herbert G. Enyeart, 93, formerly of Butler, died Saturday, Dec. 19, in Wayzata, Minn., at the Golden LivingCenter — Hillcrest of Wayzata after a brief illness.
Born March 20, 1916, in Girard, Ohio, he was the son of the late I. Herbert Enyeart and the late Margie (Klingensmith) Enyeart and was a graduate of Chaney High School in Youngstown, Ohio.
Mr. Enyeart retired in 1980 after 35 years from Armco, where he worked in the silicon department.
During the 63 years that he lived in Butler, he was an active member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, where he served as an elder and deacon and volunteered on numerous church committees and at the Covenant Food Cupboard. He also was a volunteer driver for the American Red Cross for 10 years and a member of both the Armco Veterans' Club and the Butler Elks Lodge.
Mr. Enyeart was married for 40 years to Grace H. "Billie" Enyeart, who preceded him in death in 1983.
He is survived by two daughters, Sally Chiroff of Columbia, Md., and Debbie Enyeart of Plymouth, Minn.; a brother, Robert P. Enyeart of Youngstown, Ohio; a sister, Beatrice Varner of North Canton, Ohio; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
<B>ENYEART</B> — Funeral services for Herbert G. Enyeart, who died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28, at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home Inc.</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler, with the Rev. James Swanson, of Covenant United Presbyterian Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., one hour before the funeral. Private burial will be in the North Side Cemetery. An additional private memorial service for the family is planned for late spring in Butler.The family respectfully suggests memorial donations be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E.
