Michael Hank of Butler was promoted to sergeant in the U.S. Army in less than 3 years of service.Hank is preparing for his second deployment to Iraq.Hank, son of David and Varity Hirtz of Summit Township, is a 2003 graduate of Butler High School and attended the New Kensington Arnold School District for his first 11 years of education.
