YOUTH BASKETBALL
The Butler Catholic varsity boys basketball team improved to 15-5 overall, 6-1 in section play, with a pair of victories recently.
John Ferguson scored 15 points, Chris Gamble 10 and Tyler Protivnak six in a 39-22 win over Carlow. Ferguson had 17 points and Gamble 14 in a 35-17 win over Cardinal Wright.
Dan Leary had eight rebounds and five steals in both games.
