Shultz

Catherine Alice Shultz, 94, of Butler passed away Saturday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Nov. 3, 1915, in Butler, the daughter of the late Charles Sinz and Alice (Lambermont) Sinz.

Catherine was a member of the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

She had been a school crossing guard in Butler.

She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John (Jacquelyn) Chiprean and Mrs. Russell (Barbara) Thomas, both of Butler; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Louise McLaren of Albany, N.Y.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Shultz, who died Sept. 14, 1997; four brothers; and a sister.

<B>SHULTZ</B> — Friends of Catherine Alice Shultz, who died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
