Coward

Hayden Charles Coward, 6, of Middlesex Township, Valencia, died unexpectedly Saturday morning at UPMC Passavant hospital in Cranberry Township.

The light of his parent's life, Hayden was born May 4, 2003, in Pittsburgh, the son of Richard J. and Amber Leigh Vojtko Coward.

They belong to the St. Kilian Church in Mars.

He loved attending kindergarten at the Mars Primary Center, where he was always concerned for the welfare of the other children. He enjoyed his friends and socializing, and he loved Star Wars, Spider Man, tae kwon do, football and dressing in his many costumes at Halloween and throughout the year.

In addition to his parents, Richard and Amber Vojtko Coward, he was the grandson of Rudy and Linda Hooper Vojtko of Valencia, Richard J. Coward of Plum, and Vivian Lee Coward of Middlesex Township; great-grandson of Betty Borish of Apollo; nephew of Jeffrey Vojtko (Kristen) of New Sewickley Township and Daniel Vojtko (Tina) of Ross Township; and cousin of Trinity, Rylie, Andrew and Darby Vojtko.

<B>COWARD</B> — Friends of Hayden Charles Coward, who died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, </B>238 Crowe Ave. Mars. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Kilian Church, Hook Street, Mars, with Father Charles Bober, pastor, officiating.
