Christy, Gallo
Dr. Carla Christy of New Haven, Conn., and Dr. Robert Gallo of Hershey were united in marriage Sept. 26 at Epiphany Catholic Church in Pittsburgh. A reception followed at the Duquesne Club.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Mary Christy of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Robert and Maureen Gallo of Lebanon.
The honor attendant was Anna Tolentino of Cincinnati. Bridesmaids included Emily Chiappini of Pittsburgh, Elizabeth Keasey of State College, Maura Keasey of State College, Colleen Knight of Lebanon and Marie Carroll of Pittsburgh. The junior bridesmaid was Madeline Fox of Butler.
Ushers included Benjamin Andreazzi of Camp Hill, Robert Christy of Parker, Dr. Christopher Friend of Scottsdale, Ariz., Dr. Nicholas Mehta of Gaithersburg, Md., Michael Rohrbach of Lebanon and John Tuscano of Lebanon.
The bride is a 1994 graduate of Butler High School, a 1998 graduate of Bucknell University and a 2002 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Medical School. She completed general surgery residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh and a fellowship in surgical oncology at Yale University Hospital. She is a surgical oncologist at PinnacleHealth in Harrisburg.
The bridegroom graduated in 1994 from Cedar Crest High School, in 1998 from Penn State University and in 2002 from the Penn State College of Medicine. He completed general surgery residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh and a fellowship in orthopedic sports at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. He is an orthopedic surgeon at Hershey Medical Center.
The couple is making their home in Hershey.
