Phyllis A. Hykes
Phyllis A. Hykes, 93, formerly of Leetonia, Ohio, died Tuesday afternoon at Assumption Village in North Lima, Ohio.
Phyllis was born Feb. 25, 1916, in Wahoo, Neb., and was the daughter of the late W. Calvin and Clara (McKinney) Scott.
She had belonged to the Keenagers in North Jackson, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Louis R. McIntyre, and her second husband, Paul G. Hykes.
She leaves two sons, Calvin (Peggy) McIntyre of Milwaukee, Wis., and David (Ruth) McIntyre of Mineral Ridge, Ohio. She also leaves eight grandchildren, Betsy Fitzsimmons, Cherie Mohr, Mark McIntyre, Derek McIntyre, Shannon Root, Marcia Nunez and Cindy McIntyre and William Hoosty; a nephew, Ward Kaler; a niece, Tracy Vanderwerf; and 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are dear friends, Sylvia Edwards and Carolyn Steiner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; a daughter, Brenda Hoosty; and a sister, Jeanne Avent.
