Herbert and Judith Hildebrand

Herbert and Judith Hildebrand of Butler celebrated 40 years of marriage with a surprise family dinner at Dingbat's Restaurant in Butler.

Hildebrand married the former Judith Green on Jan. 16, 1970, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have two children, Stephen Hildebrand of Butler and Richard Hildebrand of Zelienople.

Hildebrand is retired from Butler Memorial Hospital, where he worked as a surgical technician. He is an avid bowler, hunter and softball player.

Mrs. Hildebrand is retired from Butler Hospital and Homecare, where she was a registered nurse. She is a homemaker.

The Hildebrands attend St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
