9:50 p.m. Monday — Jerred Price, 37, was arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman during a domestic dispute at his Virginia Avenue home. A police report, which did not identify the woman, said Price also threatened to burn down the house.Additionally, the suspect is accused of struggling with resisting officers at his home. Price was arraigned on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and resisting arrest. He is free on $10,000 bail.8:04 p.m. Monday — Michael S. Gayhart, 27, of Butler was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. Gayhart was arraigned on charges of simple assault and criminal mischief. He is free on $5,000 bail.5:31 p.m. Monday — Robert A. Freshwater Jr., 24, of Penn Township was arrested for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend, 20-year-old Ashley Beichner of Butler Township, during a domestic assault at an apartment at Greenview Gardens.Freshwater was arraigned on a charge of simple assault. He is free on $2,000 bail.1:27 a.m. Sunday — Jacobe R. Karenbauer, 19, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on North Main Street. Karenbauer also was cited for underage drinking.8:27 p.m. Thursday — A 16-year-old Butler boy is accused of spray painting graffiti on the side of the South Main Street bridge and a garage door at Butler County Ford at South Main and West Wayne streets. The boy is charged with criminal mischief.

Tuesday — Police reported three people were cited for trespassing over the weekend at the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons. Charged are Jessica McCloskey, 19, William John Shaw, 20, and John Henry Montgomery, 20, all of Butler.

3:35 p.m. Monday — Adam C. Botting, 20, of Bradford, Mass., and Caleb A. Breckon, 19, of Leonardtown, Md., allegedly stole a mannequin from the Salvation Army Thrift Store on West Main Street. Both men are charged with theft and retail theft.

Monday — An unknown burglar stole electronics and other items from a home in the 900 block of Chicora Road in Oakland Township. The suspect removed a rear window to get inside the house between 10 a.m. and 3:50 p.m.2:05 a.m. Sunday — Anne Mook, 26, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8 in Butler Township.4:22 p.m. Friday — A three-vehicle crash at Route 8 in Center Township left five people injured, including a Clearfield County woman who suffered a broken neck.The accident happened at Route 8 and South Benbrook Road when a car driven by Marquis J., Jones, 21, of Meadville, Crawford County, turned into the path of a SUV driven by Richard R. Boyer, 40, of Butler.The car then crashed into a pickup truck driven by Michael J. Westerman, 33, of Slippery Rock.Lauren M. Nesbit, 19, of DuBois, a passenger in the car, was flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital with a fractured neck and other serious injuries.All three drivers and Zachorie J. Westerman, 22, of Slippery Rock, a passenger in the pickup, were treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.

8:20 a.m. Tuesday — Police caught five suspected illegal aliens, all from Mexico, while investigating a minor crash on Oregon Road in Springfield Township. The suspects, men between 18 and 27 years old, were turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
