Walker

Sylvia M. Walker, 86, of Cabot died Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Aug. 22, 1923, in Cabot, she was the daughter of Jacob and Mary Christley Kummer.

She had worked as a beautician.

She was a member of the Millerstown Methodist Church.

She enjoyed camping, reading, gardening and jigsaw puzzles.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas C. Walker Jr., who she married Sept. 12, 1952; her son, Jeff (Jean) Walker of Sarver; her daughter, Jean (Dave) Jones of Cabot; her grandson, Matthew Walker; and a granddaughter, Amy Walker.

Preceding her in death were her parents and brothers, James and George Kummer.

<B>WALKER</B> — Friends of Sylvia M. Walker, who died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Darlene Rennick officiating.
