Donald W. Kerry Jr., 65, of Chicora died unexpectedly at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday in Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Butler, July 27, 1944, the son of the late Donald W. Kerry Sr. and the late Mary L. Common Kerry.

Mr. Kerry worked 20 years at Pullman Standard, Butler, where he painted railroad cars. He then worked 20 years at the Armstrong County Health Center in Kittanning, retiring in 1983.

He was a member of the Chicora Senior Center.

Surviving are a son, Donald P. Kerry of Chicora; three grandchildren, Patrick, Janet and Laslo; a great-granddaughter, Autumn Kerry; a half- brother, Regis Reisman of Slippery Rock; and several nieces and nephews.

His longtime companion, Norma Beachem, died Jan. 7, 2009.
