Nancy Crisman, 60, of Big Bend Road, Emlenton, passed away Saturday at home after an extended illness. Nancy had lived in Alaska for 14 years before moving to the Emlenton area.

Born Sept. 9, 1949, in Butler, she was the daughter of Bill and Mary McClure.

Mrs. Crisman received her education in Butler County schools.

She was married to Richard S. Crisman on April 30, 1994, in the Big Bend United Methodist Church, Emlenton. He survives.

She was a member of the Big Bend United Methodist Church, Emlenton.

Mrs. Crisman enjoyed sewing and working with her flowers. She also had a love of children and baby-sat many different children. She loved her Boston terrier, Zeek.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three children, Charles Kohnen and his wife, Lynn, of Watervliet, Mich., and Douglas Kohnen and Mark Kohnen, both of Leadhill, Ark.; four stepchildren, James Crisman and Bonnie of Ellwood City, Jeff Crisman and his wife, Pam, of Emlenton, Cindy Miller and her husband, Terry, of Ellwood City and Travis Callender and his wife, Sandy, of Parker; grandchildren, Mackenzie Crisman, Blain Crisman and Chelsea Crisman, all of Emlenton, Darrin Miller of Ellwood City; brothers, Bill McClure of Parker, Cliff McClure and his wife, Amy, of Kaylor; sisters, Carol Lumbert of Bruin, Suzie Anthony of North Washington and Sally Campbell and her husband, Ron, of Wolverine, Mich.; her mother-in-law, Leora Crisman of Emlenton, her mother-in law, Leora Crisman of Emlenton; sisters and brothers-in-law, George and Faye Cuprenka of Emlenton, Tracy and Tim Quaill of Emlenton, and Gary and Bonnie Crisman of Rew; and several nieces and nephews.

<B>CRISMAN</B> — The family of Nancy Crisman, who died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home</B>, 109 Emlenton St., Clintonville. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Kimmel of the Big Bend United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will take place at the Big Bend Cemetery.The family suggests memorials can be sent to Big Bend United Methodist Church, in memory of Nancy, Highland Road, Emlenton, PA 16373.Friends can e-mail condolences by visiting www.mckinleyfuneralhome.net.
