Charges filed in home burglaries
PENN TWP — A township man is accused of a burglary spree that hit at least five homes last month, police said.
The suspect didn't have to got far, according to investigators.
"He lives in the same neighborhood where the homes were broken into," said Penn Township Patrolman Steve Setnar.
Police last week charged Brandon W. Bossola, 27, with numerous charges in connection with the string of break-ins on Country Club Road and Fairway Lane.
The suspect, who lives on Fairway Lane, allegedly took property worth more than $9,000 from the homes — one that police believe he burglarized twice.
Police began investigating the case on March 16, after one of the homeowners on Country Club Road discovered two Notre Dame class rings missing.
