Madeline E. Baker
Madeline E. Baker, 81, of Renfrew went to be with her Lord and Savior at 6:50 a.m. Friday. She passed away peacefully at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.
Born Nov. 14, 1928, in Argentine, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Homer Hughes and Gladys Sedwick Hughes.
Mrs. Baker was a member of the Butler First Church of the Nazarene. She worked at Wal-Mart in Butler.
Mrs. Baker is survived by one daughter, Kathy and her husband, Gordon, Thompson of Renfrew; her sweetheart, Glenn R. Thompson Sr. of Renfrew; one sister, Mrs. Shirley Young of Chicora; one brother, Frank and Alphine Hughes of Clintonville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband, Norman W. Baker, who passed away on Nov. 18, 1995, two sisters and six brothers.
