Timothy J. Reges Sr.
Timothy J. Reges Sr., 52, of Keel Lane, Butler, passed away unexpectedly Sunday at his home.
Born May 25, 1957, in Butler, he was the son of the late Howard W. Reges Sr. and Cecelia A. Osche Reges.
Tim was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church, Cranberry Township.
He was employed by Trinity Presbyterian Church in Butler. Before working at the church, he was employed by International Staple for 30 years until it closed.
He was a member of the Oneida Bow Hunters and was an avid and accomplished hunter. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, canning and was a gentleman farmer.
He loved spending time with family and friends, recounting stories and enjoying each other's laughter.
He is survived by his wife, Lenore Elaine Hattz Reges, who he married May 3, 1980; two sons, Timothy J. Reges Jr. and his wife, Julie, and Travis M. Reges and his fiancee, Ann Wigton, and one daughter, Nicole Zirnsak and her husband, Matthew, all of Butler; and three grandchildren, Everett and Emmett Reges, and Jackson Zirnsak. Also surviving are his mother, Cecilia A. Osche Reges of Butler; three brothers, Howard W. Reges Jr. and his wife, Susan, Randall Reges, and Mark Reges and his wife, Pamela, all of Butler; two sisters, Lori Fennell and Kimberly Cowan and her husband, Mark, both of Butler; many nieces and nephews; and his dog, Josie.

Reges Sr., who died Sunday, March 14, 2010, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Thompson-Miller funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Hope Lutheran Church, 8070 Rowan Road, Cranberry Township, with Pastor Richard Leseganich and Pastor Ronald Brown officiating.
