Barnhart, Blanchard
Kristen Barnhart of Chicora and Nathan Blanchard of Petrolia were united in marriage Oct. 3 at St. Wendelin Parish in Butler. The Rev. Steven Neff officiated. A reception followed at the Sugarcreek Township V.F.D.
The bride is the daughter of Lee and Virginia Barnhart of Chicora. Parents of the bridegroom are Patty Blanchard of Petrolia and the late Jeffrey Blanchard.
The maid of honor was Leslie Barnhart of Morgantown, W. Va. Bridesmaids were Charlana Buck of Chicora, Allene Francis of Beachwood, Ohio, Felicia Gray of Clarion, Samantha Bradley of Butler and Makenzie Smith of Butler. The flower girl was Riley Francis of Renfrew.
Performing the duties of best man was Luke Blanchard of Petrolia. Ushers were Justin Macurak of Bruin, Allen Fleeger of Chicora, Patrick Chilton of Chesapeake, Va., Chad Bell of Petrolia and Brian Edwards of Jacksonville, N.C. The ring bearer was Cameron Francis of Renfrew.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Karns City High School and a 2008 graduate of Butler County Community College.
The bridegroom graduated in 2005 from Karns City High School. He is in the United States Marine Corp.
Following a honeymoon trip to Montana, the couple is making their home in Petrolia.
