Lauren Hoyt and Nick Panos

Nick Panos of Cranberry Township and Lauren Hoyt of Cranberry Township were named king and queen of Seneca Valley High School's prom festivities Friday.

Hoyt is the daughter of Paul and Amy Hoyt of Cranberry Township.

Panos is the son of Chris and Debbie Panos of Cranberry Township.

Other members of Seneca Valley's court included Anna Brunette, Becky Eischeid, Marisa Fornadel, Taylor Johns, Erin Kelly, Kate Kelly, Bridgette O'Reilly, Lyndsay Shackelford, Annie Shellem, Ally Zezinka, Jonathan Baron, P.J. Blinn, Carter Bondo, Christopher Dorogy, Jake Double, Zach Granata, Nathan Herrmann, Will Hugo, Sean Kalnas, Nick Shaffer and Pete Vicente.

The event was held at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in New Castle.

The theme was "Sweet Escape."
