CLARION — Openings remain for the fourth annual Fran Shope Golf Classic, slated for May 21 at Clarion Oaks Golf Club.The tournament is named in honor of former Clarion University associate athletic director Fran Shope, who died May 2, 2007. The event is designed to raise money for women's athletic scholarships.The four-person golf scramble is $75 per person or $300 per team entry.
