Defense resumes in Evanko trial
The trial of Dr. David Evanko has resumed.
The defense, which had its opening statement late Thursday afternoon, started calling witnesses shortly before 10 a.m. today.
The jury could begin its deliberations later today, with the prospects that deliberations could continue into the weekend.
Evanko is charged with multiple counts related to allegations of sexual assaults against two Summit Academy teens in 2008 and 2009.
