Olga M. Povlick, 93, of Butler died early Saturday morning at the Autumn Grove Care Center in Harrisville. For the past three years, she had made her home with her son, Steve and his daughter, Zoey, in Butler.

Born in Tyler, Pa., Sept. 24, 1916, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Morris Lazor.

A homemaker, Olga had operated her popular catering business for many years.

She also formerly was very active in Boy Scouting for more than 14 years. She had been awarded the Organizers Patch and the Silver Beaver Award, and in 1962, she received the Distinguished Service Award and the Scouters Key, which is the highest award Scouting bestows to women volunteers.

A member of the St. John Reformed Church in Meridian, she formerly had been a member of the Highfield Community Center Auxiliary, the auxiliary of the American Legion Post 778 in Lyndora and the Lyndora Extension Arts and Crafts Guild.

She was the widow of Alexander Povlick. They had married Sept. 18, 1937; and he died May 15, 1999. She also was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.

Surviving are two sons, Michael A. Povlick and his wife, Lorraine, of South Carolina and Stephen R. Povlick of Butler; three daughters, Margaret Terrell of Butler, Georgia Adams and her husband, Richard, of Hermitage and SuSann Diggs of Butler; a sister, Agnes Krepinevich of Florida; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

<B>POVLICK </B>— Friends of Olga M. Povlick, who died Saturday, April 17, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. John Reformed Church, 493 Evans City Road, Butler. Her pastor, the Rev. Robert Peterson, will officiate.
