North Country Bluegrass Festival will help mark the re-opening of God's Country Paradise Park at 1576 Route 268, Cowansville, over Memorial Day weekend. Performers will include Hank Sobah, Grover and the Night Hawks, 3+2, Old Dawg, Still House Pickers, Mule Factory, Allegheny String Band and Mac Martin and the Dixie Travelers. Bands will perform in the covered pavilion, with a capacity to seat up 3,000 people undercover, and more outside in the amphitheater surrounding the pavilion. The family-friendly festival will include a classic car cruise on Saturday, camp fire jam sessions nightly, a fishing tournament, midnight movies, hay rides and other festivities. Hours are 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, 1 to 11 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 10 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $10 per carload, with camp sites available. Those attending the concerts should take lawn chairs.
