5:40 a.m. Sunday — Jacobe R. Karenbauer, 19, of Butler is accused of a hit-run crash after the car he was driving struck two vehicles parked at Franklin and East Walnut streets. Officers followed a fluid trail to find the suspect's car at his North Monroe Street home. Karenbauer told officers that he "was driving on some road and was not sure what happened."
Sunday — Wayne L. Marburger, 21, of West Sunbury was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on a motorcycle at Route 8 and Halston Road in Brady Township.1:23 p.m. Saturday — Cars driven by Ingrid Bigenho, 31, of New Kensington, Westmoreland County, and Amesh A. Adalja, 34, of Butler collided at Route 68 and Kriess Road in Connoquenessing Township. Bigenho was cited for running a red light.11:30 a.m. Saturday — A 17-year-old boy, who police did not identify, was arrested for DUI after troopers stopped his motorcycle on Route 422 about one-half mile west of Moran Road in Summit Township.Upon being pulled over for driving a cycle without protective eye wear, the boy gave a trooper his license, but then he fled. He returned and was found to be impaired.In addition to DUI, the boy, who was not wearing a helmet, faces charges for other traffic violations, including driving without a motorcycle license.Saturday — A lawn tractor was stolen overnight at a home on Cornelius Road in Worth Township. The tractor is a Cub Cadet GT3204.2:07 a.m. Friday — Rudy Armitage, 20, of Butler was charged with DUI on Route 8 in Butler Township.Friday — An unknown burglar stole a Beretta .22-caliber pistol and a small amount of money from a Yellow Creek Road home in Muddy Creek Township. The break-in happened between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m.2:49 p.m. Thursday — Three people were hurt when a car driven by a 16-year-old boy, who police did not identify, and a sport utility vehicle driven by Diana M. Christie, 60, of Slippery Rock collided on Route 308 about one-half mile south of Kiester Road.The boy and a 17-year-old girl riding in the car suffered moderate injuries, while Christie and two young boys riding in the SUV suffered minor injuries.Thursday — Gary King of Clark Mills, Mercer County, reported the theft of a yellow sign with the words: "Auction Today" from the intersection of Routes 8 and 58 in Harrisville between Tuesday and Friday. The sign is worth $70.Thursday — A set of five keys was found at the intersection of Winfield and Bear Creek roads in Winfield Township.1:55 a.m. May 25 — A car hit the guide wire of a Central Electric utility pole along Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township, pulling down the pole. The top of the pole was left suspended above the road, which was temporarily closed as a result.The Herman Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene. The driver's name was not listed in the report.7:50 a.m. May 24 — An SUV driven by Frank Beham, 21, of East Brady struck the rear of a car driven by Nicole Collar, 20, also of East Brady, that was stopped for traffic on Route 68 in Summit Township. Beham was cited for following another vehicle too closely.May 22 — Four mailboxes at homes on Herman Road in Summit Township were vandalized between 2 and 4 a.m. The total damage is estimated at $200.May 4 — Someone illegally gained access to the bank account of Robert Corbett of Jefferson Township, stealing $404.
7 p.m. Sunday — Nicholas Folino, no age given, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Furnace Run Road in South Buffalo Township.12:28 p.m. Sunday — David Check, 69, of Freeport is accused of firing a .22-caliber rifle to scare off a Westmoreland County couple in a fishing boat with a 3-year-old girl near his dock in the Allegheny River in South Buffalo Township.Check allegedly fired off four to five rounds but no one was hurt. Check was arrested an arraigned on three counts each of reckless endangerment and terroristic threats as well as disorderly conduct. He is free on $2,500 bail.9:20 a.m. Saturday — Samuel G. Orbin, 20, of Sarver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance on Route 28 in Tarentum, Allegheny County.9:45 p.m. Friday — Jason P. Kerr, 27, of Natrona Heights, Allegheny County, was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 422 in North Buffalo Township.
1:48 p.m. Saturday — Four people were hurt when cars driven by Michael L. Williams, 22, of Pittsburgh and Katherine C. Walker, 46, of Sheakleyville collided at Route 19 and County Line Road in Sandy Lake Township.Williams, Walker and a passenger in Williams' car, Gary Grimenstein, 23, of Pittsburgh, were treated at UPMC Greenville Hospital for minor to moderate injuries. A passenger in Walker's car was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Williams was cited for a stop sign violation.3:56 a.m. Saturday — An Erie man and woman were arrested on drug trafficking charges following a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township.A search of the vehicle turned up suspected contraband, including drug paraphernalia and a bag of white powder. Additionally, police seized a handgun and more than $9,000 in currency. A police report noted the gun was previously reported stolenArraigned were Henry Andino, 32, and Nergee M. Adnio-Padilla, 57, on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, receiving stolen property and carrying a gun without a permit. Henry Andino also is charged with convicts not to possess firearms
7:46 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Dorothy Wallace, 68, of Portersville hit a tree on Route 488 in Perry Township. She was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment of major injuries. Her condition was unavailable Saturday morning.11:15 a.m. Monday — A burglary occurred at the home of Nancy Hogue at 1842 Martin Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The thief stole several pieces of jewelry.
