Combine, Santis

Angela and Petros Santis

Angela Combine and Petros Santis, both of Slippery Rock, were united in marriage Feb. 27 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Slippery Rock. The Rev. Kevin Poecking officiated. A reception followed at the Tiffany Banquet Center.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Gloria Combine of Slippery Rock. Father of the bridegroom is George Santis of West Melbourne, Fla.

The matron of honor was Ashleigh Polachek of Grove City. The maid of honor was Rachael Mellor of Grove City. Bridesmaids included Raeann Williams of Franklin, Jenessa Kellner of Kittanning and Autumn Nearing of Troy, Pa. The flower girl was Alexys Akins of Harlansburg, Pa.

Performing the duties of best man was Adam Polachek of Grove City. Ushers included Anthony Shoop of Erie, Ty Heller of Kittanning, Ryan Clarke of Orlando, Fla., and Daniel Evans of Orlando, Fla. The ring bearer was Austin Stewart of Brookfield, Ohio.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and attended Slippery Rock University. She graduated in 2007 from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. She is employed at the Giant Eagle pharmacy in Slippery Rock.

The bridegroom graduated in 2001 from Melbourne High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in 2005 from the University of Florida and a master's degree in 2009 from the Florida Institute of Technology. He is employed by the Butler Eagle.

Following a honeymoon trip to Italy, the couple is making their home in Slippery Rock.
