Sinz

Anthony P. "Tony" Sinz, 80, of Evans City entered into the presence of the Lord on Friday surrounded by his family.

Born April 16, 1930, in Herman, he was the son of John and Magdelene Sinz.

Following his retirement from MSA in 1992 after 38 years, Anthony and his wife spent their winters at their home in Daytona Beach, Fla.

He was a member of the Evans City Sportsmen Club, and he enjoyed black powder shooting as well as hunting and fishing. Anthony also enjoyed playing cards, bowling, and traveling with his wife.

He had a beautiful baritone voice and sang in his church choir and for numerous weddings. Anthony attended Mars Alliance Church.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Evelyn E. (Neal) Sinz; four children, Michael Sinz and his wife, Pam, of Herman, Sherill Roberts and her husband, Leonard of Adamstown, Pa., Douglas Sinz of Evans City and Brian Sinz and his wife, Joanie of Harmony; two brothers, Charles Sinz of Renfrew and Vic Sinz of Butler; a sister, Mag Giallombardo of Butler; three grandchildren, Leonard Jr., Ally and Randy; and two great-granddaughters, Kaylee and Avena. He also is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Bill; and three sisters, Edith, Ida, and Maryjane.

<B>SINZ</B> — Friends of Anthony P. "Tony" Sinz, who died Friday, May 7, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.
