Barbara L. Feather, 65, of Valencia, died tragically Tuesday in a truck accident in New Jersey.

Born Jan. 29, 1945, in Pittsburgh and raised in Bethel Park, she was the daughter of the late Frederick K. and Mildred K. (McKelvey) Feather.

She was a loving friend and partner of Suzy L. Terner of Valencia and a beloved sister of Sandy L. Feather of Verona. She also is survived by many cousins and dear friends.

Barbara was a truck driver for many years, previously owning her own trucking company and recently driving for Unger Freight Services in Coraopolis, Allegheny County.

Her passion in life was horses, and for many years she made a living from training, buying, selling and teaching children to ride horses. Barbara was loved and will be dearly missed by the entire equine community.

<B>FEATHER</B> — Friends of Barbara L. Feather, who died Tuesday, June 8, 2010, will be welcomed from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday at <B>Schellhaas Funeral Home</B>, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. Services will be in the funeral home at 4 p.m. following visitation.
