FREEPORT — The 17th annual Freeport International Baseball Invitational will be held Monday through July 24 at six area fields along the Allegheny River.

Among the events slated at the Freeport Municipal Baseball Field will be a players showcase, an old-timers game, a home run derby, a futures tournament for younger players and a 5K run.

The final game July 24 at Freeport will feature players from all the teams, followed by a 10 p.m. fireworks display at the marina, which will be closed until 2:30 a.m. July 25.
