One fatal accident occurred this morning and another fatal accident was discovered this afternoon in Butler County.

On Route 228 in Adams Township, Edward B. Schwier, 77, of Callery died in a crash west of Pittsburgh Street at 10:37 a.m.

At about 2 p.m., Butler County deputy coroner Dennis Trzeciak pronounced a motorcycle driver dead from injuries he sustained when he apparently wrecked along Clearfield Road in Winfield Township.
