Betty L. Lindsay
Betty L. Lindsay, 75, of Valencia passed away Friday at the St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.
She was born Aug. 5, 1934, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Melvin Watenpool and Pearl (Swaney) Watenpool Schmidt.
Betty was a Protestant.
She enjoyed camping and baking, and she was an excellent seamstress.
Betty had worked at Pfleugers Candy in Butler.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Bruce (Susan) Sahli of Valencia, Mrs. Vince (Sally) DiLembo of Valencia and Mrs. John (Bonnie) Harigan of Ohio; a son and his wife, Dale and Margie Lindsay of Butler; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Dwayne (Sandy) Kohser of South Carolina; and a brother, Roy (Barbara) Watenpool of Templeton.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Don L. Lindsay; and her stepfather, Joseph Schmidt.
