SEVEN SPRINGS — Butler Elks Lodge No. 170 sponsored five tennis players in the recent Elks Area II Tournament of Champions held at Seven Springs Mountain Resort.
The competition featured four divisions made up of players from Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware.
Kemper May of Butler won the boys age 18 division by defeating Adam Becker of Maryland 6-2, 6-3; Danny Seeley of Delaware 6-0, 6-0 and Julian Rocka of Lancaster 6-3, 7-6 in the finals.
Butler's A.J. May finished third in the boys age 16 division with Erik May claiming fourth.
In the girls event, Knoch's Katie Conlon placed third in the age 16 division. Knoch's Brooke Ross lost to eventual champion Rachel Klemash in the same division.
