Pinch-hitter A.J. Miller's three-run triple highlighted a five-run fifth inning that boosted the Slippery Rock Sliders to a 6-4 Prospect League victory over the Chillicothe (Ohio) Paints Tuesday at Critchfield Park.

Kyle Mossbarger had two hits and an RBI, and Jeremy Banks had two hits for the Sliders (9-14 second half).

Rick Raraigh pitched 6 1/3 innings to pick up the win. He allowed four runs, two earned, on six hits, six strikeouts and four walks.

Reliever Mark Allen Bounds allowed two hits and no walks over the final 2 2/3 innings to notch his fourth save of the year.

Ian Nielsen smacked his league-leading 10th home run, a two-run shot in the second inning, to give the Paints, the Eastern Division leader, a 2-1 lead.

Before Tuesday's regularly scheduled game, the squads completed a suspended game from July 21.

The Paints (16-8) prevailed 7-6 after finishing the final 4Z\x innings.

The Sliders host the Butler BlueSox at 7:05 p.m. today.
