Robert H. Carson

Robert H. Carson, 69, of Fenelton died unexpectedly at 6:10 a.m. Tuesday at his home due to natural causes.

He was born in Fenelton, Feb. 6, 1941, the son of the late James Louis Carson and the late Virginia V. Kemp Carson.

He had worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Ray Andre Tires of Butler and Pullman Standard in Butler.

He was a member of the Fenelton United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Sherry Neff and her husband, Albert, of Sarver; three grandchildren, Mindy, Jeremy and Taylor; four brothers, Louis J. Carson of Fenelton, David E. (Joyce) Carson of Butler, Leroy E. (Lucille) Carson of Butler, and Douglas B. (Judy) Carson of Chicora; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel; a twin brother, William; three sisters, Dolores Mennor, Maxine Patton and Diane Carson, and an infant brother, Regis.

<B>CARSON</B> — Friends of Robert H. Carson, who died Tuesday, July 6, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME</B>, 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main streets, Chicora. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Sherry Cook, pastor of Fairmount United Methodist Church, West Findley, officiating.
