Wray Christy, 73, of Cabot passed away Sunday at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot.

Born Sept. 24, 1936, in Russellton, he was the son of Curtis and Mary (Arbuthnot) Christy.

He retired from U.S. Steel and Heckett MultiServ as an electrician.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He enjoyed his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Donna (Freehling) Christy, who he married Nov. 2, 1957; two sons, Douglas (Debbie) Christy of Butler and Ronald (Jo Ann) Christy of Waleska, Ga.; a daughter, Lanette (Charles) Winterberger of Greenville; three sisters, Shirley Zettle of Saxonburg, Betty Rockar of Saxonburg, and Dorothy Fleeger of Monroe, N.C.; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

<B>CHRISTY</B> — Friends of Wray Christy, who died Sunday, July 5, 2010, will be received from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, Saxonburg.
