Helen E. Druda Silac, 82, formerly of Butler, died unexpectedly July 10 at her home in Lorain, Ohio.

She was the daughter of the late George and Vilma Rikal Druda.

Helen graduated from Butler High School.

She is survived by a daughter, Dianne Timko, a son, George Silac, and two grandsons, all of Ohio. Also surviving are a sister, Mary K. Chuba, and a brother, Frank Druda, both of Butler; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George J. Silac, on Feb. 9, 2010.
