Vlassich

Sally Ann Vlassich, 51, of South Street, Butler, passed away at 2:55 p.m. Thursday at Family Hospice, Mount Lebanon, following a five-month illness.

She was born in Butler on Nov. 11, 1958, and was the daughter of Mrs. Margie Jane Watterson of Chicora and the late Mark D. Watterson.

She was a Protestant and had been a nurse's aide at Meadows Manor until becoming disabled.

She is survived by sons, Thomas Allen Watterson and fiance' Gina Maria Spagnola of Butler, and Steven Allen Charles Vlassich of Butler; daughter, Ashlyn Marie Vlassich and companion Edward Fink of Butler; grandchildren, Natalie Ann Vlassich, Makenzy Rose Gerstner, Landin Michael Watterson and Kolden Conrad Fink all of Butler; mother, Margie Jane Henry Watterson of Chicora; brothers, Mark Watterson of Slippery Rock, David Watterson of Chicora and Thomas Watterson of East Butler; sisters, Connie Wiencek of Rimersburg, Shirley McMaster of Chicora and Kathy Watterson of Butler; half-sisters, Bonnie Stewart of Florida and Barbara Stewart of East Brady; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mark D. "Cycle" Watterson, who died on March 7, 2004.

<B>VLASSICH</B> — A reception for friends for Sally Ann Vlassich, who died Thursday, July 15, 2010, will be at the <B>Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home</B>, Petrolia, from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
