Bryan Owens

Bryan Owens was promoted to the rank of brigadier general in the Army on Aug. 16 at Fort Benning, Ga., where he has been the commandant of the U.S. Army Infantry School since October 2009.A 1979 graduate of Butler High School, Owens received a bachelor's from Indiana (Pa.) University in 1983 and a master's from the USA War College, Carlisle, Pa., in 2004.He is the son of Clayton "Bud" and Patricia "Pat" Owens of Butler.Owens and his wife, Jennifer, are the parents of three daughters.———Marine Corps Pfc.
