SLIPPERY ROCK — Judge Timothy F. McCune won the Butler County Bar Association's Charles E. Dillon Memorial Cup outing recently at Oakview Golf Club.

McCune shot a 72 to lead the 25-golfer field. He also was one of four closest-to-the-pin winners.

Others were Mike Hnath, Marty Meyer and Phil Lope. Bill Kemper won the award for longest drive while Mark Hamilton won the honors for longest putt.

PENN TWP — Jeff Ross and Peggy Kanterman won the second annual Jamie McCandless Adult-Junior tennis tournament Monday at Butler Country Club.Cam McCandless and David Wymer were consolation winners. Extra Effort awards went to Emma West (junior), Mark Kuhn and Katy Trostle (adults).There were 47 players at the event.
