Carol J. Fusaro, 77, formerly of Middlesex Township, died Sunday evening at the LAS/St. John Specialty Care Center, Mars.

Born in Pittsburgh, June 14, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Kearns Martin.

A homemaker, Mrs. Fusaro was a member of Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church in Glade Mills.

Surviving are a daughter, Mary Shaffer and her husband, Paul, of Penn Township; and two sons, David Fusaro of Butler and Donald Fusaro of Reading. She was the grandmother of Melissa, Kelley, Steven, Paul, Alanna and Dante; great-grandmother of Brooklyn; and sister of Patricia Martin and Sheila Martin, both in Pittsburgh, Thomas Martin of Pittsburgh, Jack Martin of Wheeling, W.Va., William Martin of Erie and James Martin of Irwin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Fusaro, who she married June 14, 1958, and who died July 22, 2000; a son, Michael Fusaro; and three sisters, Dolores Martin, Nancy Wissinger and Jean Martin.

<B>FUSARO</B> — Friends of Carol J. Fusaro, who died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church, Route 8, Glade Mills, with the Rev. Al Semler, pastor, officiating.
